On 11 July 2019, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) issued its approval for Zhong Ou Asset Management Company Limited to acquire Zhong Rui Asset Management Limited in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Following the acquisition of Zhong Rui Asset Management Limited ("Zhong Rui Asset Management"), Zhong Ou Asset Management expected to conduct securities advisory and asset management businesses in Hong Kong through the acquired entity.

The acquisition was completed with an investment of the Hong Kong dollar equivalent of RMB 1.9 million in proprietary capital, through which Zhong Ou Asset Management Company Limited acquired 100% of the equity interests in Zhong Rui Asset Management.

Mr. Liu Jianping was appointed Chairman of Zhong Rui Asset Management, while Mr. He Yiwei was appointed General Manager.

On 29 November 2019, Zhong Rui Asset Management Limited was officially renamed Zhong Ou Asset Management International Limited.
